What is this workshop all about?
Your attachment style is shaped in the first 18 months of life. If your caregivers were attuned to your needs, you likely developed a sense of internal safety — and later, more secure relationships.
If your needs weren’t consistently met, you may have developed an insecure attachment style. This can show up as tension, distrust, or emotional pain in relationships.
The good news? It’s possible to move from insecurity to what’s called earned secure attachment — by building new internal experiences of safety.
In this half-day workshop, I’ll guide you through three research-backed pillars of secure attachment, developed by psychologists Dan Brown and David Elliott:
Ideal Parent Imagery
Metacognitive Skills
Collaborative Relationships
Through short talks, guided meditations, somatic practices, and partner exercises, we’ll explore each pillar together. These practices are powerful (some more intense than others) — and always optional. They’re all about discovering safety in the present moment.
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of attachment psychology and some practical tools you can begin using right away.
Attachment healing takes time, intention, and care. This workshop won’t fix everything — but it’s a great place to start.
⚠️ Please note: I’m not a therapist. If you’re currently in therapy or concerned this might be too much for you, please talk with your therapist beforehand.
