Mapping Your Inner Archetypes: A Jungian Creative Exploration
Join our event tomorrow in Yoyogi Hachiman Community Center
Carl Jung believed that beneath our personal stories, we each carry universal ones, known as archetypes.
These are recurring patterns or “characters” in the collective human psyche: the Hero, the Caregiver, the Rebel, the Lover, the Child, the Wise Elder.
They live in myth and dream, in the roles we take on, and the ones we resist. And they often shape our lives without us even knowing.
As Jung wrote:
“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”
...But who is that, exactly? And what parts of you have been trying to speak all along?
Tomorrow, July 2nd, expressive arts therapist Ariel Wu will guide a small group through an afternoon of creative self-inquiry using art, writing, Jungian archetype cards, and group reflection to help uncover the symbolic patterns moving beneath the surface.
You don’t need to be an artist. Just come with curiosity! See you there :)
